Teaching the History of Rock and Roll in elementary School

In the elementary school one might really think there is no value in teaching about the History of Rock and Roll. However in many ways it is an important subject to address at this level, as students can start to get a context of where the music that they hear on the radio comes from. Also they can learn about the sad stories of Rock stars who cut their own careers tragically short due to excessive drugs, negative thoughts, words and deeds, and suicide. Lets help the students understand these things at an early age and stop them getting involved in them.
