I guess you have to learn how to love antiques because when I was younger I had zero interest in anything made earlier than the past few years. Then a funny thing began happening. I realized that most of the stuff being made nowadays simply didn’t stack up to what was made just in the last 30 years or so. What did this all mean? Well for me it meant getting rid of a large majority of my “new” stuff for much nicer “older” stuff. Take my collection of Antique Wall Clocks for example. if you want to do your part to go green, one thing you can do is switch over to a waterless water heater.  no, i’m not talking about not using water or taking ultrasonic showers like in star trek.  instead i’m talking about water heaters that don’t have a tank on them.  the water is heated up on demand inline through a series of coils.  the main advantage is that you never have water that needs to be kept hot, wasting energy the entire time.  instead, it’s only warmed up when needed.  it also means you’ll never run out of hot water even if you have a large family gathering and 7 people all need to take showers before church.
