Make a house for your rat

06 September 2010

To make a house for your pet rat firstly you need a Rat Cage. They are easily available in the market at decent rates. The choice of the type of the cage must be done according to the needs of your pet as well as your preferences. Wire cages are best for the rats as they are properly ventilated and even toys can be hung in such cages for the rats to have fun. Aquarium cages keep your room clean but are not good for the rats. Plastic cages are cheap but need to be frequently replaced with new ones as the rats chew the plastic.

My Cat

29 August 2010

My cat is the best cat in the whole world.  I know that I am very happy to have him around.  He is getting older and a little bit cranky but he is a great cat.  Last week I had to take him to Animal Hospital Houston and that was pretty scary for me.  I had come home from work and he was pretty sick and would not eat for a couple of days.  I even tried to cook him up some fresh chicken and he would not eat that.  The vet fixed him right up and now he is back to his old self.

Loved Yorkshire Terrier!

11 August 2010

Yorkshire terriers are very popular dogs however many can display neurotic behaviour from time to time and like a number of other small silky terrier puppies for sale, yorkshire terriers tend to suffer from numerous types of problems. If your beloved pet shows signs of conditions for example spinning around or uncontrollably biting themselves then it’s time to take action and a number of these problems can easily be managed from home.In many cases it will likely be a particular reason that has triggered the abnormal behaviour so it is important to get to the bottom of his and find out precisely why and what has caused your dog to act like this.Once overcome, your Yorkshire Terrier needs to be made to feel safe and secure all the time and over time can be a loving and devoted pet.

Dog Ear Yeast Infections

23 July 2010

I had no idea why my dog kept shaking his head and whining all the time but after a couple of days of this, I finally decided that enough was enough. I took him to the vet and he told me that my dog had a dog ear yeast infection. I couldn’t believe it. He said that it was common in dogs with floppy ears cause yeast thrives in dark and moist places and Benny’s ears were perfect breeding grounds. I was distraught but he reassured me that these type of infections were common and that I could get rid of them if I used the prescribed medications and kept the area clean and dry. I did and he was fine but it was still scary.

Your fundamental duties with pets

08 July 2010

Your very first duty would be to supply your cat having a bed. Her preferences are in accord with universal standards: it should be warm and dry, of comfortable dimension, bug-free and protected from drafts.

There are plenty of places meeting these needs admirably, even in a four-room apartment — bookshelves, the floor in front of the hot-air vent, the master’s bed — but most folks feel better if they have supplied their pet having a box of some sort. And most cats appreciate the cozy confinement of the box nicely enough to use it. Beyond this, whether the box or its lining is plain or fancy is really a matter of person taste — your taste, because the cat won’t treatment.

The Cat and Kittens only other post of furniture an indoor cat needs is really a pan. You will find cats that, by some stroke of fate, have learned to use the human toilet, but yours probably is not one of them. Buy a pan. Enameled metal is best and simplest to maintain thoroughly clean. It should be big enough for that cat to maneuver in comfortably, but the sides ought to be lower. It ought to be kept in one location, and it may be filled with sand, shredded newspaper or sawdust.

Such a Good Mother

05 July 2010

I could not believe how long my poor little Kitty was in labor. She had given birth to six kittens over the course of six hours. She was just exhausted, but she was taking good care of all of those little kittens. They were just all so cute. I knew from what I learned on kittykitty.com that I should not be touching them much right now, but I just could not keep my hands off of them. I may never be able to experience anything like this again. I just want to spend time with them. Holding them is the best thing in the world.

Is This A Good Saltwater Aquarium Situation?

02 July 2010

I’ve got a new house and I want to install a new saltwater aquarium in the wall in the living room. I’m kind of worried about the moisture and other effects that putting an aquarium filled with water inside a wall can cause, so I just want to make sure that I’m not making a bad decision here. The part of the wall that I will be installing this aquarium in is quite thick and is located directly above the part of the basement that I will be using for the aquarium maintenance and water flow and top offs. Is this going to be a good idea?

Veterinarian Directories 101

01 July 2010

Some veterinarians come off so kind and willing to help just because of there almost assumed love for animals. On the contrary my cat jingles and I have encountered many a veterinarian who act like a chief surgeon. With there ego’s and ridicules price ranges I have found going in there and meeting them has not always been our best bet. The internet has helped me the most in this case. An online veterinarian directory with blogs or customer service reports has been a lot more helpful. Reading everyones personal testimony helped me be able to relate with certain people i have never met about our animals treatment options. Now days a veterinarian directory shows all sorts if information. Some vets only treat certain types of animals. The veterinarian directory displays all that information. Hours of operation, what types of services they offer, even there hours of operation and how to get there. If you have to travel a lot for work or are constantly moving around you can even purchase a nation wide yearly publication. The information in there is way more of use to the traveling pet owner. They are a little pricy but for someone that needs a national handheld veterinarian directory clearly states they do not have the internet. If your behind the times or just do not know have to surf the web the handled veterinarian directory can be used.Searching just the word veterinarian and the zip code your in will be more economically friendly. You will be saving paper and the frustration of searching threw the national handheld veterinarian directory. Using the internet to find a local trustworthy veterinarian proved to be the most apt way of getting a possible friend instead of a business relationship. Now both jingles and I have a new friend and ally to count on in serious times of need.
