Having the opportunity to go away with my husband seemed like heaven. I planned this vacation for over a year to give him for a birthday present and he couldn’t have been happier. During dinner, I handed him the reservation papers for our stay at Monteverde Costa Rica and he started yelling in the middle of the restaurant.  Living in the state I live in right now, there are only a few dude ranches I’d like to visit. I think as a family we can all go and enjoy ourselves. But since it can also just be a date outing, I may do that as well. Or at least mention it to my boyfriend of 2 years. I know one particular ranch that offers very inexpensive dude ranch vacations with children. And actually, the more children under 12 that are with the adult, the higher the discount then becomes. I find that pretty impressive since the prices are usually higher with smaller discounts at other  places for vacations. I have told my friend about this place and next month she’ll be taking a trip on this ranch.

Harold and his son Roger decided to go on a fishing trip. Roger told his dad that they needed to find a kfc before they left so that they could take some chicken with them. Harold told Roger that it sounded like a good plan. He told Roger that if he went on line to the kfc finder website all he would have to do is put in the zip code and there would be a list of kfc locations listed for them to choose from. He told Roger to choose one that was on there way out of town and they would make a quick stop to pick up some KFC.

My husband and I debated for months on trying to figure out a great place to go for our vacation. We have been to so many different places that we were ready to go someplace new that we have never been before. We are nearly ready to embark on our first trip to taupo new zealand and we are really excited about it as neither of us have been there before. We have been busy looking up all the things to do there and it looks like there is an endless list of adventure activities to do and accommodation in taupo. Aside from the sky diving, bungy jumping and jet boating, there is also a huge lake. Apparently this lake is the size of Singapore and has some of the best trout fishing in the world. This part I am particularly looking forward to as I love fishing and there are several guides that run tours to some of the local rivers and also take you out on the lake.

My sister and I have been saying for years that once the kids are old enough to manage with just their dads that we would go on a trip.  Well the time has come.  Our kids are teenagers and we are so desperately in need for some rest and relaxation.  We started searching online for some hot spots, but then decided we didn’t want to vacation with gobs of other people.  My sister then typed in Peru and Nasca Lines popped up.  Instantly we fell in love with the images that we saw and knew this is where we wanted to spend two weeks.  We are leaving in a month and can’t wait.
