Speed of Juicers

There is a lot of hype going on about juicers currently. Everyone is jumping on the health bandwagon and talking about the benefits of juicing, and the various fruits and vegetables involved. My friend even mixes garlic into her juice, and it tastes weird! The best juicers have a low RPM speed in order to retain nutritional value. This is because a high RPM speed will cause the juice to heat up, encouraging oxidation to take place, and causing enzymes to be lost. A slow speed means that the motor is spinning slowly enough to prevent the juice from heating up. Be aware that the slower your RPM rate, the longer you have to keep juicing though.
