Hot Pocket of Heat
My electric bill has been steadily rising for the past few years. My husband thinks it has something to do with our attic. He was looking around up there yesterday and it was absolutely sweltering. He is going to install an attic radiant barrier. This should keep the attic from getting so hot in the summer. This will make our central air conditioning unit not have to work so hard to keep the house cool. I never realized we had a big, hot pocket of heat in the attic. If I had, I would have had the problem fixed years ago.
