Water During a Drought
My state is currently experiencing one of the worst droughts in a century. Things have gotten so bad that we are no longer allowed to use any outdoor water. The only way to water a garden is to use a watering can and you are only allowed to fill the can twice in one day. Thankfully, four years ago, my husband and I installed rainwater tanks for just this situation. We have them set up to irrigate both our vegetable garden and our flower garden. While ours our thriving, everyone else is watching their harvest wilt. We have people asking us everyday how we do it. Even the county has stopped by to make sure we aren’t wasting and they were impressed. I’m sure everyone will be buying these tanks soon.
