A Teary Eulogy for my Mother

When it comes to giving speeches, I am usually on top of my game. As a professional motivational speaker, talking in front of people is what I do, and I usually do it very well.  But when it came to giving one of the eulogies at my mother’s funeral, I struggled not only with my composure, but with knowing how to put my thoughts into adequate words. What could I say about this unassuming little woman who brought me into this world and lovingly guided me through it? I decided just to talk from my heart and let the tears flow if they wished. There is nothing shameful about a son grieving the loss of his mother.
