I big announcement was made recently at my gym by the head coach. He said Very soon mma Australia will be the single organisation for Mixed Martial Arts in the Country. After a lot of negotiation with key players in the combat sports industry it was decided to keep all the organisation of competition, rules and officials under one body. This will greatly improve the efficiency of the sport. The peak body is in charge of BJJ, Judo, Kickboxing, boxing, karate and wrestling and several other sports. to be a member you must pay a yearly fee of one hundred dollars and attend three meetings a year.
